Microsoft 365 Outage Update: What Happened and What You Need to Know

On January 22, Microsoft experienced a service outage that impacted Microsoft 365 customers worldwide. Like many organizations, some of our clients may have noticed intermittent issues accessing certain Microsoft 365 services during this time.

What Was Affected

During the outage, users may have experienced difficulty with:

  • Sending and receiving email
  • Accessing Microsoft 365 service portals
  • Logging into or managing services through the Microsoft 365 Admin Center

The issue was confirmed to be on Microsoft’s side and was related to their underlying service infrastructure. No customer data was compromised as a result of this event.

What We Did

As soon as the outage was identified, our team began actively monitoring the situation and working directly with Microsoft for updates.
